BORED TO DEATH

Jonathan Ames, a young Brooklyn writer, is feeling lost. He's just gone through
a painful break-up, thanks in part to his drinking, can't write his second novel,
and carouses too much with his magazine editor. Rather than face reality,
Jonathan turns instead to his fantasies — moonlighting as a private detective
— because he wants to be a hero and a man of action.

The offbeat comedy series 'Bored to Death,' created by Jonathan Ames (author
of several books, including the acclaimed graphic novel 'The Alcoholic'), follows
the misadventures of a fictional Jonathan Ames as he pursues his quixotic
dream of emulating his heroes from classic private detective novels.

'Bored to Death' stars Jason Schwartzman ('The Darjeeling Limited') as
Jonathan Ames; Ted Danson ('Damages,' HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm') as
George Christopher, a high-profile magazine editor and Jonathan's boss; and
Zach Galifianakis ('The Hangover') as comic book illustrator Ray Hueston,
Jonathan's confidant. BORED TO DEATH was created by Jonathan Ames;
executive producers, Jonathan Ames, Sarah Condon, Stephanie Davis, Dave
Becky and Troy Miller; co-executive producer, Tracey Baird; producers, Mark
Baker and Anna Dokoza.

OPENING CEREMONY IS WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

Opening Ceremony is Where the Wild Things Are
In collaboration with director Spike Jonze, Opening Ceremony had created a
limited edition collection inspired by his new film adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s
treasured book, Where the Wild Things Are. The line features a full range of faux
fur pieces for both men and women, subtly evoking Max’s crew of wild friends
including Carol, Judith, K.W., Douglas, and Bull. The line even includes Max’s iconic
one-piece playsuit - complete with furry-eared hood and raccoon tail. To top it
off, Pamela Love has also contributed to the project, creating silver and brass
men’s and women’s jewelry inspired by the film’s iconography.

JULIAN PLENTI

Interpol’s lead singer, lyricist and guitarist Paul Banks released a solo album under
the name Julian Plenti, and has written and performed under the Plenti moniker for
several years, according to a source close to the situation. While the album was
recorded recently, some of the songs were written more than ten years ago. He’s
done a lot of work with Niall Darcy, with whom there has been a long time mutual
admiration.

THE ANTLERS

Initially, The Antlers was a solo project created by vocalist and guitarist Peter Silberman
immediately after he had moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he had isolated himself
from family and friends. Silberman wrote the first album, “In the Attic of the Universe”
by himself and under his own name. Afterwards, he recruited Lerner and Cicci, becoming
a collaborative group.
