Neon O’clocks Works - ‘JAPAN AVANT-GARDE’ - Portraits of a Japanese Woman [2009]

Neon O’clocks Works is a conceptual artist unit by Tomihito Kono and Sayaka Maruyama who works in the field of art & fashion photography and makes an art series of photo & short movies inspired by their own imagination.

Their works are influenced by Surrealism, Modern Art, Films, Paintings, etc.

Their latest work, Japan Avant-garde is a photographic series partly influenced by the heavily constrained world of Geishas. This project want to investigate the dark side of beauty.

I really like the concept behind this project as well as it's interesting look :)
